ENTEREST successfully launches "EDR Workbench" roaming solution at Softbank Mobile Japan.

Roaming solution handles TAP3, NRTRDE and in-house roaming traffic.

Tokyo, Japan / Hamburg, Germany - March 23, 2009 - ENTEREST GmbH, one of the leading providers of xDR-Management solutions to the telecommunications industry, today announced that they successfully launched the EDR Workbench roaming solution for NRTRDE (Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange) and TAP3 (Transferred Account Procedure) processing at Softbank Mobile Japan, one of the biggest mobile network operators in Japan.

With EDR Workbench, Softbank Mobile introduces NRTRDE to their business and for the first time enables them to directly exchange TAP3 formatted roaming data with their roaming clearing house (MACH), thus replacing the proprietary MACH interface. The project was done in record breaking time taking only twelve weeks from start to going-live, and was performed by ENTEREST's new Japanese partner I.M. Corporation. The system runs on a clustered Windows Server environment.

EDR Workbench enables operators to dramatically increase the quality of their processing while providing a wide range of CDR-handling possibilities at the same time. This enables carriers to focus on their core business and allows system integrators to explore new business opportunities. Customers like T-Mobile, Vodafone, O2 and Swisscom have adopted EDR Workbench, as well as renowned service firms like Accenture and Atos Origin.
